Najeeb, full of desires to settle in his life planing to visit Gulf  and fulfill his dreams of becoming wealthy. With his help of his friend, Najeeb travels to Gulf accompanied with a young man Hakeem. The trouble started right away when they landed. After a long wait in airport, they are taken away by a rich Arab to his farm. There he is treated as a slave and assigned to look after the goats for about three and half years in the desserts of Saudi Arabia. Najeed was forced to work tirelessly without food, even denying water for washing his bodily waste. Najeeb was kept in control with a gun and binoculars and beats him regularly with his belt.Najeeb is far away from human interaction and he starts to identify himself with the goats. He talks to them, eats with them, sleeps with them and virtually lives the life of a goat. Finally one night with the help of a Somalian worker from  Hakeem's farm  device a plan and the trio elopes from the desert. They walk for days and young Hakeem dies of hunger and thirst. Najeeb and Ibrahim (Somalian) however manages to find their way to town. Najeeb get himself arrested and end up in prison to deport to India. There will be a small twist at the end of the story that makes the reader feel so sorry for Najeeb. This novel is based on a real life incident.

Dr.V.Krishnamoorthy, Indian veterinarian commonly called as Dr.K or Yaanai doctor was the hero of this story. இக்கதை மூலம் மனித இனம் போன்ற ஒரு கேவலமான இனம் வேறு கிடையாது என்பதை உணர்ந்துக்கொண்டேன். இக்கதை என்னை பிரட்டிபோட்டுவிட்டது. காடுகளுக்கு போகும் நண்பர்களே நீங்கள் சரக்கு அடிதாலோ அல்லது வேறு எதாவது சேட்டை செய்தாலோ தயவுசெய்து பாதி உடைந்து போன கண்ணாடி பொருட்களை வீசி எறிந்துவிட்டு போகாதீர்கள். இக்கதை மூலமாக விலங்குகள் இம்மாதிரி செயல்களால் பொறுக்க முடியாத சொல்லவும் முடியாத வலியால் பாதிக்கப்படுகின்றன என்பதை உணர்ந்து கொண்டேன். விலங்குகள் நம்மை காட்டிலும் சிறந்தது என்று இக்கதை உணர்த்தியது.

"ESTEROS EGO" a Greek crime thriller movie directed by Sotiris Tsafoulias. A serial killer inspired from Pythogoras Amicable number (220 and 284, 1184 and 1210) uses the no.220 with Pythogoras quote as a mark in victims place. What is this Amicable number? A pair of number each of which is the sum of the factors of other. Ex. 220 is divisible by 1,2,4,5,10, 11,20,22,44, 55 and 110 of which the sum is 284 likewise divisors for 284 are 1,2,4, 71 and 142 of which the sum are 220. These numbers are called Amicable or Friendly numbers. The victims will be killed by the order of dates that are divisors of 220 i.e on 1st day of the year, then followed by 2nd day of the year upto 110th day of the year which will be the last victim. A high quality movie with perfect screenplay.

இன்று வெக்கை புதினத்தை இரண்டாம் முறை படித்துமுடித்தேன். வாசித்துமுடித்த பிறகு அசுரன் படத்தில் வரும் காட்சிகளை யோசித்து பார்த்தேன்.வெக்கை நாவல் ஆனது நிலம்  அபகரிப்பு பற்றியது ஆகும். பூமணி அவர்கள் எந்த இடத்திலும் தீண்டாமை பற்றி பேசவில்லை. இந்த புதினம் பள்ளர்கள் என்ற ஒரு பிரிவினர்களை பற்றிய கதையே ஆகும். யார் பள்ளர்கள் ? மள்ளர்கள் என்றும் பெயர் உடையவர்கள் . "மள்ளன் " என்றால் மிகுந்த பலம் உடைய தேகங்களை உடையவர்கள் என்றும் பொருள். பள்ளர்கள் வயலும் வயல் சார்ந்த இடத்தில் (மருதம்) வசிப்பவர்கள். தெலுங்கர்கள் படையெடுத்து வரும் வரைக்கும் தமிழகத்தில் நிலவுடைமை சாதியாகத்தான் பள்ளர்கள் இருந்திருக்கிறார்கள். பதினைந்தாம் நூற்றாண்டு பிறகுதான் பஞ்சம் வந்ததால் அடித்தள மக்கள் ஆனார்கள். பள்ளர்கள் ஒடுக்கப்பட்டவர்கள் இல்லை நிலம் இழந்ததால் சமுதாயத்தில் கீழே  தள்ளப்பட்டவர்கள். வெக்கை நாவலில் தீண்டாமை பற்றியோ  சாதி கொடுமை பற்றியோ பேசப்படவில்லை, பறிக்கப்பட்ட நிலமும் அதை மீட்பதற்கான போராட்டத்தை பற்றியதே வெக்கை நாவல். ஆனால் அசுரன் படத்தில் காணப்படும் சில காட்சிகள் சாதிய கொடுமையை காண்பிக்கிறது. இக்காட
